The ECO4 Scheme has already supplied 2 million homes with new and improved heating measures. Offering eligible households the chance to stay warmer for less, this grant covers the full cost of installing an energy-efficient boiler or upgrading an existing system.

If you receive income-related benefits, live in or let out a property with an EPC rating lower than D, and have an old boiler that doesn’t adequately heat the home, you could be eligible for a full boiler upgrade.

Before replacing a heating system, the scheme mandates that the property should first and foremost be insulated – the fabric in the building – be looked at first. Thereafter, our certified engineers will assess whether your boiler meets the current efficiency standards.

Take note that not all boilers can be replaced under ECO4; eligibility depends on individual circumstances and a property survey. But don’t worry – you may be offered a greener alternative, such as an air source heat pump, to increase your home’s energy efficiency.
